This morning I got a call from a guy named Wil out in Colorado. He was looking for more of our Joomla training videos. I told him I was glad that he enjoyed them but that I couldn’t help him with the specific problem he was having.
I gave him Jarod’s cell phone number. He then called Jarod looking for help. I wouldn’t have given him Jarod’s cell if he didn’t ask me what it would cost to fix his problem. Jarod being the almighty was pissed I had someone call him. (for those of you who have worked with tech guys, you’ll understand their mentality.) I still love you Jarod, even if you get pissed when something positive happens.
Here’s the point of this post however. Have you ever had anyone call you from a YouTube video you posted? This was our first time, but I’ll put this into a bigger picture….All we did was give value.
That’s it.
Did the guy give us his credit card number then and there? Heck no, but someday someone will…..
